- Kein Benutzerkonto, keine Registrierung.

3.2 Anbieter
Google Ireland Limited
Gordon House, Barrow Street
Dublin 4, Irland
3.3 Welche Daten Google verarbeitet

This English version is a translation for your convenience. The legally binding version is the German one.
This policy applies to the Bloxi app (iOS and Android) and to the website appoxi.com/bloxi.
In short
- No account, no registration. Your game progress, your high score and your settings stay on your device. We do not run a server for the app and receive no game data.
- Bloxi is free and funded by optional reward videos from Google AdMob. The app connects to the internet only for these videos, for the update check via Google Play and, if you are signed in there, for the leaderboard and achievements.
- The leaderboard and achievements run via Game Center (Apple) or Google Play Games, and only if you are signed in to these services (section 7).
- Personalised ads only with your consent, and on iPhone and iPad additionally only with your tracking permission. You can change both at any time.
- No tracking of our own, no analytics and no crash reporting services in the app.
- No in-app purchases, so no payment data either.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
appoxi
Owner: Aleyna Sönmez
Kantorgärten 6
21354 Bleckede
Germany
Email: info@appoxi.com
No data protection officer has been appointed, as the legal requirements of Art. 37 GDPR in conjunction with § 38 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) are not met. You can reach us at the address above for any data protection matter.
2. Principle: the game runs on your device
Bloxi stores everything the game needs in your device's local storage:
- the current game (board, pieces, points and available jokers),
- your high score,
- your settings (sound, music, volume, appearance),
- counters for the review prompt (section 5),
- counters for the achievements (such as lines cleared, games played, gems collected), which achievements you have earned, which record has already been reported to the leaderboard and a checksum that detects tampering with the game data (section 7).
This data is not transmitted to us; we have no access to it. There is no user account and no registration. Bloxi does not process your location and does not access contacts, photos, camera, microphone or calendar.
Storing information on your device and accessing it is strictly necessary for the game you have expressly requested within the meaning of § 25 (2) no. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG); no consent is required for this. The legal basis for providing the game is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Apple and Google may include app data in their system backups (iCloud backup or backup to your Google account). Apple or Google respectively are responsible for this; you can turn these functions off in the system settings. If you delete Bloxi or reset its app data in the system settings, all locally stored data is removed.
3. Advertising with Google AdMob
3.1 How advertising works in Bloxi
Bloxi shows reward videos only, and only when you start one yourself, for example to get more jokers (refresh, undo) or to continue after “No moves left”. There are no banners and no ads that open unprompted. We only allow ads up to the content rating “PG”.
3.2 Provider
Google Ireland Limited
Gordon House, Barrow Street
Dublin 4, Ireland
3.3 What data Google processes
So that videos can be loaded, shown and accounted for, the Google library connects to Google's servers and preloads a video in the background. In particular, the following is processed:
- your IP address and an approximate location derived from it (such as the country),
- device and app information such as device type, operating system and version, language setting, and the app's identifier and version,
- your device's advertising ID (Android: Google Play services advertising ID; iOS: IDFA, only with your tracking permission),
- interactions with the ad such as impression, playback and click,
- your consent decision (section 3.4).
Google uses this data to deliver ads, limit how often they are shown, prevent fraud and measure results, and, with your consent, also for personalisation. On Android devices with Privacy Sandbox, the Google library may additionally use Android's “Topics” and “Attribution” interfaces; you can configure this in the Android settings under Privacy > Ads.
3.4 Your consent
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google window (User Messaging Platform) asks for your consent when you first start the app. The legal basis for storing and reading information on your device and for personalised advertising is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. The Google library stores your decision on your device.
If you decline, Google delivers at most non-personalised or limited ads; the legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in offering Bloxi free of charge (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The game remains fully usable; reward videos may then be available less often.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: in Bloxi's settings under “Privacy options” (the button appears where Google provides this option). The lawfulness of processing carried out until then remains unaffected.
3.5 Responsibility and third countries
Google processes this data under its own responsibility. We only receive aggregated reports from Google (such as the number of videos shown and the revenue) without reference to individuals. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR.
More information: policies.google.com/privacy, policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage your ad settings with Google at myadcenter.google.com; on Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in the settings under Google > Ads.
4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iPhone and iPad, after the consent request, iOS asks whether Bloxi may use your device's advertising ID (IDFA) to show you more relevant ads. Without your permission the advertising ID remains blocked; videos are then delivered without it. You can change your decision at any time in the iOS settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG.
5. Review prompt
After a moment of success (a new high score or a big combo), Bloxi occasionally asks for a rating via the official dialog of Apple (StoreKit) or Google Play (In-App Review): at the earliest after five starts on three days, four days after the first start and after eight finished rounds, and then at most every 120 days. We do not learn whether or how you rate; Apple or Google handle the rating under their own responsibility.
For this, the app stores only on your device when it was first started, how often and on how many days it was used, how many rounds you finished and when it last asked. This information is not transmitted. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in feedback in the store).
6. Updates (Android)
When it starts, Bloxi asks Google Play (In-App Updates) whether a newer version is available and offers it to you if so. Google Play handles this request under its own responsibility; we receive no data. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in a secure, up-to-date app).
7. Leaderboard and achievements (Game Center, Google Play Games)
Bloxi offers a worldwide leaderboard and achievements via Apple's Game Center (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play Games (Android). Both are optional and only work if you are signed in to Game Center or Google Play Games in your system settings. Without signing in, everything stays on your device.
If you are signed in, Bloxi sends your score and newly earned achievements to Apple or Google at the end of each round. A record set earlier without signing in and achievements already earned are reported as soon as you sign in. If Bloxi detects tampered game data or an implausible jump in points, the round does not count towards the high score, the leaderboard or score achievements. Apple and Google link this information to your player profile (player name and, if applicable, profile picture) and show it to other players on the leaderboard, depending on your profile's visibility settings. With Google Play Games, a player profile may be created when you first sign in.
Game Center and Google Play Games are operated by Apple and Google under their own responsibility; their privacy notices apply (Apple apple.com/legal/privacy, Google policies.google.com/privacy). We receive no personal data in the process and see the leaderboard just like other players. The legal basis for the transfer is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the feature you use).
You can sign out at any time: on iPhone and iPad under Settings > Game Center, on Android in the Google Play Games profile settings or in your Google Account. There you can also delete your player profile and the associated data.
8. App permissions
| Permission | Purpose | If refused |
|---|---|---|
| Internet and network state | loading reward videos, update check (Android), leaderboard and achievements | game fully usable, without videos and leaderboard |
| Vibration (Android) | haptic feedback while playing; follows your system setting | no vibration |
| Advertising ID (Android: AD_ID and the Privacy Sandbox permissions for advertising ID, Topics and Attribution) | advertising via Google AdMob (section 3) | can be reset and deleted in the Android settings |
| Background tasks (Android: WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE) | requested by the included Google libraries for short background tasks | no separate prompt |
| Tracking (iOS) | advertising ID only with your permission (section 4) | videos without advertising ID |
In particular, the following are not requested: location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, calendar, notifications and access to files outside the app's storage.
9. Download via App Store and Google Play
You download Bloxi from Apple's App Store or from Google Play. Apple and Google process data such as your store account and device data as independent controllers; their privacy notices apply: Apple apple.com/legal/privacy, Google policies.google.com/privacy. From Apple and Google we receive aggregated statistics (such as the number of downloads) and, only if you have agreed in the system settings to share them with developers, crash reports without reference to you.
10. The website
When you visit the website appoxi.com/bloxi, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, status code, referring page and information about browser and operating system. This processing is necessary to deliver the page and to fend off attacks; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our hosting provider keeps the logs only as long as necessary for operating and securing the website and then deletes them automatically.
The website and our email mailboxes are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. The website uses no cookies for analytics or advertising and does not embed third-party services from external servers.
If you email us, we process your details to handle your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the correspondence as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
11. Children and young people
Bloxi is not an offer specifically directed at children. Personalised advertising requires consent; persons under 16 should only give it with the agreement of their parents. Without consent, no personalised ads are delivered.
12. Overview of legal bases

- Apple (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Ireland) for the leaderboard and achievements (Game Center), the review dialog, the tracking request and the App Store, as an independent controller.
- Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus) as processor for hosting the website and our email mailboxes.
Insofar as Google or Apple transfer data to countries outside the EU, they do so under their own responsibility, in particular on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data or pass it on to data brokers.
14. Storage periods at a glance
| Data | Period |

15. Your rights
You have the following rights towards us:
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)

- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
Please note: your game data is stored only on your device, and we do not assign any identifier to you. We can therefore neither provide information about this data nor delete it for you; you can do so yourself at any time by deleting the app. For data that Google processes for advertising, please contact Google directly (policies.google.com/privacy).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, Art. 77 GDPR. The authority responsible for us is:
The State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony
Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany
lfd.niedersachsen.de
16. Security
All connections made by the app are encrypted (TLS). Bloxi contains no analytics or crash services of its own and writes no logs in the released version; the Unity game engine is configured not to send usage or crash data. Apart from the system libraries, only Google's libraries for advertising and consent (Google Mobile Ads, User Messaging Platform) and, on Android, for the review dialog, updates, leaderboard and achievements (Play In-App Review, Play In-App Updates, Google Play Games Services) are included; on iPhone and iPad, Bloxi uses Apple's GameKit for these.
17. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the app, the legal situation or the processing changes. The version published at appoxi.com/bloxi applies.
